A true Woman on Fire, Devena has dedicated her life to nurturing hope and love through her work at St Philomenia Children’s Home. Her passion, strength, and unwavering commitment to children in need inspire us all.
I am a living testament to the power of resilience. My journey, like many women's, has been marked by challenges, but instead of letting them define me, I chose to use them as the foundation for my empire. My mission is to empower women who have faced the devastating effects of abusive relationships, showing them that their past does not dictate their future.
Through my work, I've built a community dedicated to helping women become self-made. I believe that the biggest comeback is proving to yourself that you are capable of achieving anything you set your mind to. The hardships I've faced have taught me invaluable lessons in strength, independence, and determination. Now, I dedicate my life to sharing those lessons, teaching women how to harness their inner power and transform their lives.
My journey is not just about overcoming personal adversity; it's about creating a blueprint for success from scratch. I’ve learned to navigate obstacles, turn setbacks into opportunities, and build something meaningful from the ground up. I want every woman to know that she holds the power to create her own destiny, to build her own legacy, and to find her voice after being silenced.
I am a strong advocate for self-reliance and financial independence, believing these are key to true liberation. By providing guidance, resources, and a supportive network, I am committed to helping women reclaim their lives, build their confidence, and step into their power. My story is a message to every woman who has ever felt broken: You are not a victim of your circumstances; you are a survivor destined to thrive.
Vee is a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment and community upliftment. With over two decades of leadership experience, she plays a key role in co-creating and shaping the Women on Fire vision alongside Rosy. From the very beginning, Vee brought her voice and energy to say, “the time is now to launch this leg”—helping to activate the platform, drive the website and engage the community, and turn the vision into action.
Through her involvement with Ubukwa.com, Vee drives youth development, community feeding schemes, and impactful giveback initiatives. She is also dedicated to mentoring women in corporate spaces, guiding them to navigate challenges, step into leadership, and create opportunities for others.
Vee’s work reflects the heart of Women on Fire: collaboration, courage, and giving back.
